1952 Daimler Ferret Scout car.. The Ferret is an armoured 4X4 vehicle designed for reconnaissance .I purchased this Ferret 5 years ago .It has been kept in a climate controlled garage as part of a collection The interior as well the engine bay are clean .This Ferret has been driven twice a year and then returned to storage . Everything is in good working order , however there is a starter issue that needs to be addressed ,this showed up last fall The batteries have been replaced but there appears to be a solenoid issue and the vehicle will not start, it only clicks( I can provide a video of the starting issue )There are quite a few items from the original Kit as well as some spares .Included is also a replacement transmission There are minor oil leaks on the front and rear hubs which is expected for a 70 year old vehicle Other then the starting issue this vehicle always ran and drove as it should This can be licensed for the road, I have a Canadian ownership for this vehicle I can help with loading onto a flat bed truck . A 500 dollar deposit is required with 24 hours of auction close . Payment in full by Certified Bank Draft , cash or electronic wire transfer before vehicle is released .I reserve the right to end listing early if vehicle is sold locally .
