1960 Ural Dnepr Russian Military Motorcycle with Sidecar
Up for auction is a 1960 Ural Dnepr Russian Motorcycle with Sidecar. I’m reducing the size of my military collection and so the Dnepr is available. The motorcycle is in excellent condition and shows very well. Everyone that sees the bike loves it. The bike has a K750 flat head motor with a single wheel drive four speed transmission with reverse gear. There is a handle on the right side of the gas tank to shift it into reverse. Bike has been in storage in my small military display for about 6 years. We ran it prior to parking inside. Paint is in excellent condition. Good gloss with no significant imperfections. There is no evidence of rust on the bike. There is a small scuff on the right sidecar fender (See picture). Should be able to buff it out. All levers operate as they should and the throttle turns freely with no resistance. Seats on bike and in sidecar are in excellent condition. Bike has a cool cover for the headlight for nighttime military operations. It also has a neat storage spot on the gas tank to store your cell phone. 🙂 Tires have excellent tread and are in good condition. Bike comes with extra parts and spares. I believe we have some extra tires with the bike too but I have to locate those. Bike comes with extra brake shoes but not needed. There are also some extra electronic parts for ignition and lighting. Bike comes with extra standard telescopic front forks for when the bike is ridden without the sidecar. Bike comes with some maintenance information for the bike.
Everyone who sees the bike loves it. I think people love to look at the cylinder heads on the bike as well as the unique front suspension. The sidecar is always very much appreciated as well. It has been fun having this bike as part of our collection. We want the bike to go to someone who can appreciate it and enjoy it for its unique design characteristics.
Bike is located in Oakland, CA and it would be preferable to have the winning bidder pick it up there.
