1967 Red River Army Depot M718 ambulance based on the M15A1. The vehicle had more of a motorpool restoration done in 1984-85 than a full blown restoration. That being said the body was still sandblasted on the outside. It had relatively low mileage drive train installed into it. Mileage on the speedometer is original to the tub. I started with a bare tub at the time of restoration.
It is currently in storage, but it does run, drive, is insured and is licensed in the state of Ohio.
All M718 specific parts are present. Litter rails, supports, folding passenger seat frame, etc.
Body is uncut and was mostly rust free. It did have a patch welded in on the drivers side panel by the front frame extension. / transmission cross member. There are some scrapes in the paint and some dents were not repaired completely, I wasn’t as experienced of a restorer back then.
Tires are old, but still have good tread, but brands do not match all the way around. The Canvas was New Old Stock at the time and I have canvas doors for it as well.
I prefer interested parties to inspect in person. I can answer any questions as well.
