Up for auction is a titled and street-legal 1996 American General M1123 HMMWV. From what I have researched, it was actually made in 2000/2001 and Reset by the USMC and is the VIN plate that you see in the pictures. I purchased this beast originally through GovPlanet with 38.7 original miles on it. It currently has 8,530.2 original miles on it. Then, I had it transported to Plan B Supply in Ogden, Utah. There they made it street legal with lights, bumpers, seats, seat belts, made it a 4-door Wagon Back, had 3 thin coats of Rino Lining for body paint and added the Safari Rack. After that, it was transported to XHP in Jupiter, FL where the 6.0 GM Diesel engine and transmission came out and an Allison 6-Speed Transmission and a 6.6L 2006 LBZ Duramax was put in. The Electrical was upgraded from the 24v to a 12v system by Infinity Box to include Smart Electric. The outfit just went through a fresh powder coating job on the Safari Rack, Bumpers, Brackets and the hitch. Below is more-detailed description. It has a FULL Set of 4 Off-Road V-Chains, Floor Jack, Sennheiser S1 Digital Aviation Headsets and a plethora of parts from previous repairs. I have invested a total of over $265,000 into this well-loved machine. All receipts available upon request.
