2 Universal Military Small Arms Ammunition Pouches, 2nd Pattern, ALICE, DEFECT M1956

This is a small arms ammo pouch that was used in the US Military. This is the second pattern of the M56 ammo pouch, with the only real change being the removal of a plastic stiffener in the front of the pouch. The removal of the stiffener allowed for three military small arms mags to be carried, over the original two. The pouch is meant to be worn on the military issue pistol belt, with Soldiers carrying two of these pouches. Magazines are secured by a flap that has a metal clasp, that a strap is then woven through. There are straps on both sides of the pouch for attaching and carrying hand grenades as well. On the back are ALICE clips for carrying the pouch and a strap for connecting the pouch to worn suspenders, for additional support of the load.

You will receive two (2) defective pouches.

Defective means this pouch will have moderate to heavy wear. There may be stains, writing and 1-2 small holes (smaller than 1/2″). One of the snaps on the MOLLE straps may be missing and need to be replaced. Kydex inserts may be broken, if applicable. The pouch is useable but in need of repair.
