2001 Freightliner FLU419 Unimog Rebuilt by RRAD
I purchased this as military surplus. The US government has been selling these things for a while. The site contact told me that these things are no longer going to be available after the last auction that just happened. Starts right up and runs great. Still like new condition. Below are the details:

We have completely gone through this Unimog to make sure they are ready to go. A full inspection has been done and all necessary repairs have been made. Below are inspection items and repairs made:
All hydraulic cylinders checked for leaks Rebuilt RS swing cylinder, RS boom lift cylinder, Bucket tilt cylinder
Checked all hydraulic hoses and lines. Replaced rotted hydraulic hoses on front loader assembly
All wiring and electronics checked Rebuilt heater core/fan assembly, repaired wiring to wiper motor, rebuilt wiper motor, repaired washer pump, replaced wiper switch, repaired throttle control assy. Repaired RS upper and lower headlight function Repaired starter lockout switch
Installed new batteries
Repaired leak hydraulic hose reel assembly
Checked all brake functions Master cylinder, calipers and lines for correct operation.
Repaired sticky throttle verified function
Checked fuel filters lift pump and sediment bowl. Replaced hand primer pump
Checked engine oil, filters and for excessive blow by. Engine runs very clean with no blow by.
Checked air intake, and filters
Checked clutch, transmission, transfer case for proper function. Made necessary repairs
Checked axles for leaks and proper operation
Checked air tank relief valves and replaced leaky valves. Repaired/replaced leaky air lines
Repaired any damage to all body panels, touched up paint as necessary
Verified steering function, checked steering pump, steering gear, tie rod ends, center link for proper operation.
Checked tires for leaks, tread depth and condition. Replaced LF tire
Checked all gauges, lights master switch for proper operation
There are several FLU419’s out there for sale. You might be taking a chance if the unit you purchase hasn’t been fully checked out. Repairs made on this machine are typical of these things. These unimogs don’t have lots of use but have been sitting around for several years. We are experts on these unimogs. If we missed anything, we will be glad to make it right.
