This not a ragged out surplus truck I bought, slapped a cheap coat of paint on and am trying to flip for a ridiculous amount of money like many of the humvees on eBay nowadays. This is my personal truck and has been maintained and cared for accordingly. It is not perfect, but it’s in extremely good shape. Things I’ve done to it within the past 3 months:

– Every drop of fluid has been changed – I use only premium Mobil and Lucus Oil fluids

– All filters have been changed – I use only OEM filters

– New OEM serpentine belt

– New OEM glowplugs

– Fresh CARC paint job – inside and out

– New OEM wiper blades

– New OEM headlights

– 90-95% Goodyear Wrangler MT tires w/ runflats

– Brand new high back seats

– NOS GMA soft top and doors

This truck is about as turnkey as they come – it needs nothing.

It has a clear, clean, on-road, North Carolina title.

It drives as it should – goes straight down the road with no vibration/shake, even at highway speeds.

The engine runs as it should – it pulls strong, sounds great, starts every time, doesn’t smoke, no blow by.

The transmission shifts as it should – smooth and firm.

The cooling system cools as it should – doesn’t run hot even on the hottest of NC summer days.

The undercarriage and engine pictures look dirty, but it’s actually the anti-corrosion coating the Marines spray on everything – this is the cleanest Humvee you’ll find.

There’s not a single fluid leak anywhere on this truck.

I’m happy to provide any additional pictures or videos. You’re more than welcome to come crawl all over it and take it for a test drive. The only thing that isn’t 100% right on this truck is that sometimes the turn signals work and sometimes they don’t.

I have a Red Dot AC system that I will include if the buyer wants it – it’s not new, but should work fine once hooked up. I think I also have a spare tire I’ll include if wanted – it’s also not new but should be plenty good enough to get you out of a bind.

If you’re interested in a 4 man truck instead, I have a brand new, still in the factory box and plastic, GMA Camo 4 man top kit. The kit includes the top, rear curtain, C-pillar, 4 soft doors, bows, rails and all the hardware needed to install it. Brand new – factory sealed. These are nearly impossible to find. I’d be willing to strip the truck and include the top kit (you install) for the right price. Message me to discuss.

Ok, now time to vent a little… I’ve sold several Humvees over the years and have experienced a few things along the way, so I thought I’d share some of the nuggets I’ve picked up to hopefully save both you and I some time:

1. If you haven’t gotten permission to purchase my Humvee from your wife/girlfriend/significant other, please do so first before asking me for a ton of additional pictures.

2. If you don’t know how you’ll pay for my Humvee, please figure that out before you ask me to help with shipping.

3. If you don’t know if your insurance company will insure a Humvee (most of them will), please figure that out before bidding.

4. A Humvee is not your F150 and thus does not ride or drive like your F150, so please know what to expect before you come for a test drive.

5. When I say “bottom dollar”, I mean “bottom dollar”, don’t drive 2 hours to pick up the Humvee with $500 less than we agreed to, hoping I’ll cave in – I won’t, and I will send you home empty handed.

6. And finally, and most recently… if you’re looking for a vehicle to drive 5 hours to the beach and back on a regular basis to go fishing, a Humvee probably isn’t for you – please figure this out before wasting 3 hours of my time inspecting every nook and cranny and test driving mine for 45 minutes.

Ok, last thing… $500 non-refundable deposit due immediately at close of the auction. Remaining balance due by certified check or wire transfer within 72 hours. I will store it for up to 2 weeks for free, but it’ll be $100/week after that. I am happy to help your shipper get this loaded up and can provide some economical shippers I have previously had good experience with. Any inspections/test drives are welcome, but must be done prior to the end of the auction. I have this truck for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, with no notice.

This is a auction! Bid with confidence, you won’t find a nicer, more solid M1123 anywhere.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and God bless.
