This historic Deuce and a Half (M35A2C) is in relatively wonderful condition with the exception of some light surface rust blemishes. It has been regularly and properly maintained and lovingly cared for by its current owner. It served a tour in Vietnam and was later assigned to the Indiana Army National Guard’s 38th INF Division HHC (Headquarters and Headquarters Company). I have an original photo of this Deuce sitting in a field in Vietnam with one of our soldiers sitting in the cab. I also have the original ID paper from the Guard showing its model #, serial number, vehicle ID, and sub-ID. Really cool. It features a new troop carrier cover and new old Vietnam-era cab cover. in 1998, it was sent to DRMO and the side bed rails were hinged to fold down, allowing more versatile loading and unloading and creating a flat bed when needed. It was more recently used for transporting family and friends to the Indianapolis 500 on race days and provided hayrides on many Fall evenings. What fun! It would be great for all kinds of uses, especially veteran/patriot events and activities, and parades. Of course, its fun and usefulness is only in the eye of the person who imagines it.
