Brand New Parka, they were still folded when I got them! Like winning the lottery. Last one, no hood on this one.
This is a genuine Canadian Armed Forces IECS parka. This parka is a key component of the Canadian Armed Forces improved environmental clothing system (IECS).
The IECS parka is designed to keep the wearer warm in the extreme cold conditions of a Canadian winter, and are rated for -40 degrees Celsius. The overall durability and functionality of this parka cannot be found in commercial brands of cold weather clothing. Due to the Canadian Military switching over to a different camo pattern, these parkas are no longer manufactured and as such are becoming hard to find in this condition.
· Extremely warm, rated to -40 Deg Celsius
· Waterproof removable inner liner
· Two large pockets, each with two smaller inner pockets
· Two small zippered breast pockets
· Removable wool lined hood with duckbill and wire rim + draw cord
· Heavy duty front zipper, with button up fly
· Draw cords at waist and hem
· Large internal hidden pocket, allows parka to be folded into itself to form a carry bag with the included carry strap
· Inner liner removable to facilitate washing of outer shell
· Made in Canada
Condition
This parka is brand new, and parkas in this condition are next to impossible to find. I have an extremely limited quantity left and this style of parka is no longer in production.
