US Army Vietnam Special Forces NAVY SEAL ERDL CAMO Jungle Jacket X Large N/MINT camouflage jungle fatigues began to arrive in-country in the late 1960s, at first intended for use only by special forces, such as Green Berets, Navy SEALs, and Marine Force Recon. This US Army Vietnam SPECIAL FORCES NAVY SEAL ERDL CAMO JUNGLE JACKET is in near mint condition, with some light whitish spot soiling at the upper right chest/sleeve, and with a bit of loose threading evident to the middle and bottom front buttons (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the jungle jacket is in near mint shape, with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, or other damage to the crisp ripstop 100% cotton construction. Most interestingly, it’s the very scarce and desirable Size X-Large Regular, retains nearly 100% of the vibrant ERDL camouflage colors, and is dated 1969 on the original nomenclature tag inside. It boasts 4 front pockets, the top two slanted inward at a jaunty angle, sports all of the original dimpled OD plastic buttons throughout, and is a beautiful example of a rare, original US Army Vietnam SPECIAL FORCES NAVY SEAL ERDL CAMO JUNGLE JACKET. We have shown a photo of a US Army Ranger in Vietnam wearing a similar ERDL camouflage jungle jacket.
