You are bidding on a mint, unissued M1 carbine pouch in O.D. 7 dated 1944. These could be worn on the belt or slid over the buttstock of the carbine.I bought a number of these on ebay recently and only needed one. Was told they came out of a new old stock crate. It is in excellent unused condition with just a minor amount of verdigris on the lift the dot snap. The buttstock type dated 1944 are rather hard to come by.
