You are bidding on a very interesting item. It is a WW2 US PARATROOPER WRIST COMPASS Manufactured by SUPERIOR MAGNETO CORP L.I.CITY N.Y U.S.A. It was bought in France so I think given its condition it is a Wartime one(not date stamped & I have not opened it to look at the back of the dial though). Strap is missing(replacements are available online, the plastic glass is cracked & there is NO liquid inside so I would say it is in POOR to FAIR condition as per the photos. PLEASE look at the photos especially carefully & satisfy yourself as to condition & what you are bidding on. PLEASE note that I am not an expert on this type of thing though.
