I’m so excited to (finally) offer quality WWII US GI C Rations! I really have wanted to get these together for the last year or so as an option for reenactors along with the K Rations and D Rations I have offered in the past. A lot better than some of the offerings I’ve seen in the past (either empty cans, stuff from Russia with completely incorrect contents, etc.)

As of 4/13, cans also have period correct stamping on the lid! And I also have the small tins that held soluble coffee so it may contain the small tins of coffee of the laminated foil pouch, both correct for the C rations. Being early war I’ll use 4-42 dates so it will be correct for any WWII dated event.

B Units contain 5 biscuits made to WWII specifications using the exact WWII 1943 C-type biscuit recipe, paper or glassine separation disc, three correct Domino tabbed paper-wrapped sugar cubes or Domino boxed granulated sugar, confection and drink mix. The confections are four wrapped rod candies, three wrapped caramels or cellophane sealed fudge. The drink mix is Nescafe soluble coffee in laminated foil envelope, lemon juice powder in plastic sachet or cocoa powder. Check out the photos showing the quality of the individual packaging designs. I’ve used original WWII ration contents to develop the packaging.

I make the biscuits using the period Department of Defense approved recipe for the C-Type biscuit, which is made from whole wheat flour, flour, invert sugar, sucrose, salt, milk powder, lard/shortening, malt and soda. I mill my own flour at home using a Nutrimill harvest, real pork lard using GMP food preparation techniques in a sanitary environment.
