Detroit Diesel Powerplant with Allison Automatic Transmission. Auxiliary Engine is a Perkins 4 Cylinder Diesel (Both engines run perfectly). The Landoll Deicing Unit consists of a pump system connected to the Perkins engine via a Twin Disc transmission. The enclosed bucket/cab is heated, has controls on dash panel, overhead dash and swivel seat mounted joy sticks. It is mounted to an electric/hydraulic boom capable of 40 foot extension and stabilized by vehicle spring locks. Full controls are also located in the truck cab with appropriate mounted control panel. Manual boom controls and additional fuel tank is located on the roof at the base of the boom. Hydraulics have never been operated under my ownership as the vehicle was delivered to me less fluids. Truck has PTO, 11.00X20 Tires, is FMVSS compliant and has a 35,000 lb. GVW. The Deicer includes 3 fluid tanks, a 1,000,000 BTU fluid heater and a reel mounted ground spraying wand. All U.S. Air Force maintenance records are included. All vehicle records including the original Certificate of Origin from Ford are also included. The truck is currently titled under a Regular “Green” Michigan Title. It is licensed with Michigan Historic Vehicle License Plates and insured as a historic vehicle.
