1986 American General M998 HMMWV S#030182 10,866 Miles DESERT STORM
Great condition, starts, runs drives. I just drove it down the hill from my Dad’s house about 30 miles on the highway. It runs great.
The only thing I can find wrong is a cracked rear tail light lens cover. And I cannot figure out how to make the blinkers work. It could be me or it could be a relay or something.
All the other lights (headlights, taillights, brake lights) work just fine.
EXTRA SPARE TIRE INCLUDED
This truck is licensed in California currently under non op status. It is located in Colorado since our family escaped CA many years ago. From what I have learned California is no longer registering these vehicles. Imagine that, I am so glad we got out.
From some of the stickers still on the vehicle it looks like it served in Desert Storm as there is some Arabic writing (stickers) still on truck. It looks like it was with 4th Brigade Headquarters from the other stickers (4 BDE HHC) also still on the truck. SEE PICS.
