M151 MUTT 1965 You are bidding on an early M151.
This truck starts, idles, runs, shifts & drives. The clutch is VERY strong. The headlights, tail lights & brake lights work.
At various points in it’s life, an M151A2 powerpack was added, as well as A1 turn signals. Recently added an A2 fuel pump & an A2 fuel pickup in the gas tank. The E-brake works, the carb was rebuilt earlier this year and it has two “newish” batteries. Still has the 24V electrical system. The gas tank interior was professionally finished with an ethanol-resistant coating. I have a valid Title for this.
It has no brakes. The E-brake works well when the truck is moved around at a walking pace. I have driven it safely on the dead end road by my warehouse.
The truck has major rust issues. If I were going to keep it, it would be disassembled down to the unibody, blasted and repaired with the Large Underbody repair kit and every panel I could get from the good folks at Cameron Industries.
